I am a Contemporary abstract painter and teacher living in county Wicklow, Ireland. My Spanish heritage has a strong influence on my creative endeavour. My paintings are inspired by an exploration of complex patterns emerging from textured worn surfaces, a distillation of what calls me to dive in deeper.

Inspired by ancient geometric patterns of Andalucian culture and the vibrant light & colours of Morocco, my paintings invite you on a journey back in time to the Al Andalus & Almohad kingdoms of the 12th century, to experience a passion for the alchemy of sacred geometry in its infinite beauty.

Humans are pattern seekers, we have been making our mark since the dawn of time. Perhaps it gives us a sense of who we are, an identity, in a vast universe, grounding us in a time of rapid and constant change.

Having worked in the IT industry for many years, I returned to college as a mature student in 2015 to study Visual Art at the National College of Art and Design, Ireland. I continued my art studies having completed the Creative Visionary Programme Masterclass with Nicholas Wilton in 2019.

My past experience working with Sculptural Fibre art mediums continue to inform the many layered surfaces of my paintings. I have exhibited in group and solo shows in Ireland, Finland, Spain, Sao Paulo and Morocco.
